I love it when life imitates art, and now that the Yankees have averted a humiliating sweep—and perhaps gotten their offense back on track—tonight’s Game 5 in New York will resemble this video. The Dodgers will be playing the LL Cool J part, while the newly-resurgent Yanks will be seeking to force the Series back to the land of palm trees and sunshine.
I wanted a seven-game series or a sweep of the Yankees, and since the latter is now off the table, I guess it’s Go Yankees? It feels weird to say that, but what is life if not weirdness, sometimes?
LOL from what I’ve heard, not only has no team ever come back from 0-3 to win the series, but none has even managed to force a Game 6 after losing 3. Well, from a much, much older song, You got to have a dream…., if you don’t have a dream… how you gonna have a dream come true?! (Granted, I’m officially not a Yankee fan myself…). What I’m trying to say is, whatever happens, you “suggested me” into watching a helluva series!
